Date: May 7, 2026
Category: Product Update
SIFTR has released a series of assessment experience improvements across both the CAF and Cyber Essentials evidence mapping workflows.
The V2.1 update focuses on improving usability, assessment clarity and remediation guidance for organisations conducting evidence-led cyber assurance reviews.
The latest release introduces a more structured and operational assessment experience, helping users interpret findings more clearly and understand the actions required to strengthen assessment outcomes.
Key improvements included in V2.1
- Enhanced assessment summary panels for faster interpretation of outcomes
- Improved evidence visibility and document referencing
- New “Missing Evidence” guidance sections to highlight assessment gaps
- Introduction of structured “Recommended Actions” outputs
- Refined assessment hierarchy and expandable workflow design
- Improved readability across large evidence assessments
- Consistent experience improvements across both CAF and Cyber Essentials mapping
The updated experience is designed to support organisations conducting structured cyber assurance reviews against UK government-aligned frameworks and baseline profiles.
These improvements build on SIFTR’s wider evidence-led assessment approach, where uploaded documentation is mapped directly against framework outcomes to support explainable and auditable reporting.
Further enhancements are planned as part of the next development phase, including expanded evidence ingestion capabilities and additional workflow refinements for larger-scale portfolio assessments.
