SIFTR Launches Cyber Essentials Evidence Mapping (Beta)

Date: April 11, 2026
Category: Product Update

SIFTR has introduced a new Cyber Essentials (CE) evidence mapping capability, currently in beta.

This feature allows organisations to upload supporting documentation and assess how their evidence aligns with Cyber Essentials technical control requirements. The system identifies areas of strong coverage, partial alignment, and missing evidence across all five CE control domains.

The beta release is designed to support:

  • Pre-assessment validation before Cyber Essentials submission
  • Identification of gaps in evidence and documentation
  • Improved clarity on how technical controls are demonstrated

This builds on SIFTR’s existing CAF 4.0 mapping capability, extending the platform to support organisations across both entry-level and advanced UK cyber assurance frameworks.

The CE mapping feature is currently being tested with real-world evidence sets to ensure accuracy, conservatism, and alignment with NCSC expectations.

Further enhancements, including support for mixed evidence formats such as screenshots and cloud infrastructure outputs, are planned as part of the next development phase.

Status: Beta
Access: Available within SIFTR platform
